Hinamatsuri Japanese Doll Exhibit

Hear the story of their historic roll in American and Japanese Culture presented by Ann Braaten PHD, curator of the Emily P Reynolds costume collection at 7:30pm.  Refreshments will be served after the presentation.


20th Annual Meeting

The Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society will be hosting its 20th Annual Meeting on Wednesday March 14th, 7:00 p.m., in the atrium at the Neuropsychiatric Research Institute, 700 1st Ave S, Fargo.
Guest keynote speaker will be Don Kinzler, will give a presentation of the "Secrets to Successful Shade Gardening". Din is a life-long gardener, was employed in NDSU Horticulture, operated Kinzler's Greenhouse in south Fargo, and is currently Forum Communication garden columnist.

The annual meeting will include social time with refreshments in the atrium after the keynote address, followed by the annual membership business meeting.

Parking is available in the south and west parking lots, and building access will be through the south door.

This meeting is free and open to the public.


NPBGS Plant Sale

Come to the NPBGS greenhouse to shop from a huge selection of perennials, annuals, wildflowers, vegetables, herbs and woody plants to begin your garden season off right. These are all locally grown plants, which come in a large array of sizes and types at reasonable prices. All Proceeds will support the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society in the development of the Botanic Garden’s future and the current gardens growing on site by the greenhouse. After making your plant purchases, take some time and go through the on site gardens to see the new plants growing and maybe you will catch a few already in bloom!
